Left foot accelerators.
Designed for drivers who are unable to operate the accelerator pedal with their right foot, the Left Foot Accelerator allows a driver to operate an accelerator pedal on the left of the brake pedal with their left foot.
Depending on the design of the vehicle there are various options to control the accelerator with the left foot.
Flip up accelerator.
When the left foot is being used then the right accelerator pedal swings upwards and under the dashboard, preventing the right accelerator pedal from being used and providing space for the right foot, the same applies when using the right pedal conventionally.
Floor mounted accelerator.
Designed for vehicles with accelerator pedals which hinge from the floor, A guard covers the right accelerator pedal preventing it from being used and the operation is transferred to the left side of the brake pedal. When being used conventionally the whole left foot pedal and right foot guard can easily and quickly be removed exposing the original accelerator pedal.
Electronic left foot accelerator.
A left foot accelerator is mounted into the vehicle and wired into the electronics of the original accelerator pedal, control can be changed from left to right with a simple flick of a switch.
